One of our most recent projects, a beautiful cafeteria project completed by Business Environments. We provide the furniture, fixtures and accessories for the new cafeteria. Everything from the furniture to the flooring was designed, specified, and installed by Business Environments.
Business Environments partnered with The Redmond Company out of Waukesha, Wisconsin to provide the furniture, fixtures and accessories for ETFCU’s new 82,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility. Everything within the drywall of the structure, excluding built-in’s, was designed, specified, and installed by Business Environments, including demountable walls, furniture, flooring, wallcovering, art and accessories.
In partnership with local designer, Kip Farmer, we met the client’s vision for creating a calming atmosphere to greet their many patients upon arriving. We were able to compliment Kip’s use of neutral tones, muted lighting and natural elements with a centralized lounge that surrounds a silk tree. This helps to create a welcoming focal point. In addition, we provided soft lounge seating and the individual chairs needed for this busy medical practice.
Pioneer Oil was an all-inclusive project. Business Environments worked directly with Pioneer Oil to develop a color scheme and layout for their corporate office. They were looking for a sophisticated look that fit the oil industry, this was executed through the use of greys and warm wood tones. In an effort to make their office unique the client included several oil rigs in the design and custom built a metal reception desk. Business Environments was able to assist in the design by providing custom sketches and sizing.
This project started as a completely blank slate. We worked with Expressways recruiting and retention manager and the contractors to bring their ideas to fruition. Our involvement early on in the construction process enabled us to determine the best possible furniture solution and have the walls built to accommodate it. In the end we provided furniture for 6 different departments with varying needs.
Healthcare
Business Environments provided the furniture and flooring for this new 51 suite facility in Henderson, KY. Our computer aided renderings assisted the client in visualizing and marketing their new facility even before it was completed. This project showcases our interior design capabilities to not only select furnishings and accessories, but also in choosing interior elements. The finished product is a casual, but elegant, environment that fits the needs of the client as well as their residents.
We had the privilege of being chosen to complete the interior environment of two patient rooms in Deaconess’ beautiful new hospice facility. Our vision was to create a comforting atmosphere for the patient and their family members while maintaining criteria necessary for the medically necessary functions within the rooms. Special consideration was given to the selection of the furnishings and materials to provide a high degree of sanitation, mobility and function while appealing to the senses of the family and patient.
Business Environments worked directly with Women’s Healthcare to provide all aspects of this project. The goal was to update the space and create a warm and feminine atmosphere for the women visiting the space. At their request we provided color schemes, furniture, flooring, wallcovering, cubicle curtains and a custom check-in area. We also helped to finish the space by providing accessories and art. The finished space is both elegant and welcoming for all of their patients.
Business Environments has a long-standing relationship with Orthopedic Associates. When they decided to open up a branch in Newburgh we were there from the beginning to help with everything from finish selection to furniture specification and installation. We provided systems and office furniture for employee areas, lobby seating, break room tables and chairs, and exam room physician’s stools. Aside from furniture we also chose finishes for built-ins and provided flooring and blinds. Education
We are proud to have been chosen to provide furniture and finishes for a variety of projects at this local university over the years. We work closely with the universities on-site interior designer to provide products. From furniture to flooring and accessories there are examples of our work all over campus. Business Environments was chosen, through the bid process, to provide some of the furniture for University of Evansville’s renovated Library. Our furniture was used to create different types of meeting and presentation spaces within the open layout. We were also able to use our resources to provide laminate end panels to existing shelving to update the look and save on cost.
Business Environments was chosen, through the bid process, to provide some of the furniture for the Stone Family Center. Various furniture was provided including lounge/guest seating, tables, glass markerboards, trash receptacles, shelving and more.
Manufacturing
Business Environments worked directly with the Operations Manager at Polyram Plastics, a leading international supplier of high-performance thermoplastic compounds, to provide furniture for the office portion of their facility. Our design team specified furniture and finishes for various areas including the lobby, conference room, break room and offices.
