Business Environments focuses primarily on commercial interiors.
Our philosophy is to offer the expertise, service and resources required to fulfill any commercial facility’s interior project. Careful selection of resources has been made in the areas of furniture, floorcoverings and wallcoverings, fabrics (and materials), window treatments, lighting, plants, framed prints and artwork, signage and accessories.

Business Environments has the ability and resources to handle a project from the inception of an idea through its completion. We can also provide assistance to independent designers, architects, or individuals in need of only certain aspects of the design process. This approach allows our clients and their staff to concentrate on their respective areas of expertise, rather than trying to become experts in the many facets of interior design. Whether our clients require this full service approach or only a supplier for single-use items or furnishings, Business Environments has the resources at highly competitive prices.

 

Business Environments Facility

Our facility, located at 5611 E. Morgan Avenue in Evansville, Indiana includes a contract resource room, 3500 sq. ft. general building products/residential resource area, commercial carpeting resources, commercial wallcovering resources, a drapery manufacturing workroom, a framing shop, a receiving and warehousing area, and a working showroom displaying many of our product lines.

 

Use of Technology

Business Environments is committed to a technology strategy that will provide better service to our customers, shorten cycle time, reduce errors and provide timely project and account information.

  • AutoCAD provides the foundation to database the architectural shell and floor plan.
  • CAP electronically specifies the product required to construct the floor plan.
  • Visual Impressions software provides the capability to produce realistic color renderings.

Order Management

  • Track changes in orders to implement all revisions.
  • Monitor established "critical path" schedules to insure delivery requirements
  • Utilize the database of specifications to monitor the status of outstanding orders.
  • Issue weekly order status reports to all members of the project team, communicating:
    • Ship Dates
    • Changes
    • Problems
    • Other pertinent project information
